How to Install FurfSky Reborn for Hypixel Skyblock

Share

FurfSky Reborn is one of the BEST texture packs for hypixel skyblock. It was created by a number of incredibly awesome artists, and is currently owned by Tylerrrr, a popular Hypixel Skyblock youtuber. This guide is going to show you exactly how to install the resource pack to your Minecraft launcher. There are two easy ways to install the pack:

  • Install FurfSky Reborn using SkyClient – the easiest way to install Hypixel Skyblock resources.
  • Install FurfSky Reborn manually – the more time consuming method that lets you use vanilla.

Install Furfsky Reborn Using SkyClient

SkyClient is an incredibly easy way to install mods and texture packs, but it does limit you to one specific client. If you are interested in using it, I would first suggest you install SkyClient using this link. Once you have, come back to this page and I will show you how to add the pack to your SkyClient instance.

Selecting FurfSky Reborn in the SkyClient installer
SkyClient Installer

As you can see in the above image, FurfSky Reborn is checked in my SkyClient installation. (It is located in the bottom right on my screen, you may need to scroll down a little bit to see it on yours.) Once you check the option, then press the large blue ‘Install SkyClient’ button. This will then install the client with FurfSky Reborn installed and ready to use.

Install FurfSky Reborn Manually

To install FurfSky Reborn you will need to first download the pack. You will need to visit https://furfsky.github.io/downloads/ and choose the appropriate pack. I recommend the ‘Full’ version, but the ‘Overlay’ version will not texture blocks, but just the Skyblock item textures. (NOTE: For all textures to work, you will need to install NotEnoughUpdates and Optifine.)

Once it is downloaded, you will need to place it in the correct folder. Open your downloads folder, and find the file. Drag that window to one side of your screen. Next press the Windows Key + R. Type %appdata%\.minecraft/texturepacks. Then simply drag the file into that folder. Congratulations, FurfSky Reborn should now be installed into your Minecraft installation!
